Tear — Archived Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Tear is a legacy Android application that is no longer distributed, actively developed, or supported by Maksim Stashkevich. These archived terms provide status information for people who may still have an old copy. They are not an offer of a current service.
Discontinued status
No updates, compatibility fixes, availability, security maintenance, online functionality, or support response time are promised for an installed historical copy. Features may no longer work because of operating-system changes, unavailable infrastructure, or changes to third-party services.
You may stop using the historical application at any time by uninstalling it. Continuing to keep an old copy installed is at your own risk, subject to any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Device and third-party services
An old copy may depend on the device, internet access, mobile data, Google Play Services, or other platform components. Your use of those components remains subject to the relevant provider’s terms, including the Google Terms of Service. The operator does not control their availability, charges, or policies.
Intellectual property
Rights in the original Tear application and branding remain with their respective owners. These archived terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, modify, extract, or republish protected material except where such permission is required by applicable law or separately granted by the rights holder.
Privacy
The companion Archived Privacy Notice explains the limited facts that can currently be stated about the discontinued application and how to make a data-related request.
Future release
If Tear is offered again, new terms and a current privacy policy will be published based on the actual application, permissions, SDKs, infrastructure, distribution channel, and business model before release.
