Stashkevich Friends Calendar
Purpose of the application
The purpose of Stashkevich Friends Calendar is to allow invited users to connect their own Google Calendar and display authorized calendar activity in the Friends Status timeline.
Stashkevich Friends Calendar is a public web application operated at stashkevich.com.
This homepage is available without creating an account or signing in.
The application displays authorized Google Calendar events alongside Discord presence, Steam activity, and configured schedules so invited friends can understand one another’s current availability.
What the application does
After a person deliberately authorizes access through Google OAuth, the application reads events from that person’s primary Google Calendar.
It uses the event title, start and end time, all-day dates, event color, and calendar time zone to:
- show the current calendar activity;
- place calendar events on the daily Friends Status timeline;
- use the original Google Calendar event color;
- show when calendar information was last synchronized.
Calendar information is refreshed approximately every two minutes while the integration is being used.
Why Google Calendar access is requested
The application requests only the read-only Google Calendar permission:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly
Read-only access is necessary to retrieve calendar events and display them in the status timeline selected by the person connecting the account.
The application cannot create, change, or delete Google Calendar events.
It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, passwords, or payment information.
Important public-display notice
Friends Status pages are publicly accessible and are not protected by a login page.
When a calendar is connected, event titles, event times, event colors, and the resulting activity status may be visible to visitors of the relevant Friends Status page.
A person should connect only a calendar they are authorized to use and should not connect a calendar containing information that must remain confidential.
Who can connect a calendar
The integration is intended for a small group of invited people who already have a configured Friends Status profile.
Each invitation link identifies the profile to which the authorized primary calendar will be connected.
The application must not be used to connect another person’s Google account without their informed permission.
Data control
Google access can be revoked at any time through Google Account permissions.
A person may request deletion of stored OAuth tokens, cached events, and their calendar connection by emailing [email protected].
Full details about access, use, storage, disclosure, retention, and deletion of Google user data are available in the Privacy Policy.
Use of this application is governed by the Terms of Service.
Application operator
Stashkevich Friends Calendar is operated by Maksim Dmitrievich Stashkevich, a self-employed individual registered in the Republic of Belarus.
