Tear — Archived Privacy Notice

Tear is a legacy Android application that is no longer distributed, actively developed, or supported by Maksim Stashkevich. This page is an archival notice for people who may still have an old copy installed. It does not describe a currently offered service and does not invite new data submissions.

Current service status

The current operator does not provide an active Tear account system or Tear backend through stkv.by. Because the historical application source, released binary, and exact third-party SDK configuration are not available in this website repository, this notice does not make unsupported claims about every permission or data flow that may have existed in an old version.

An installed historical copy may operate locally on the device or attempt to use platform components such as Google Play Services. Any processing performed independently by Google or the device platform is governed by the provider’s own terms and Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

To stop use of an installed historical copy, uninstall Tear using the standard Android application controls. You may also review and revoke its permissions in Android settings and clear its local storage before uninstalling.

If you previously provided information directly to the operator in connection with Tear and want to ask whether any record remains, email [email protected]. Include enough context to identify the request, but do not send passwords or sensitive device data. Identity verification may be required before disclosing or deleting information.

No new release without review

Before Tear is republished or supported again, its actual source, release binary, permissions, network behavior, third-party SDKs, Google Play Data safety declarations, and user disclosures must be reviewed. A new current privacy policy must be published before any renewed collection of personal data.
